Brookhaven Fire Company EMS is seeking highly motivated Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Medical Responders to staff our BLS Transport Unit. Brookhaven EMS responds to approximately 1800 medical emergencies a year. In addition to the Borough of Brookhaven, we provide secondary coverage to 7 surrounding communities. QUALIFICATIONS:
*Current EMT or EMR certification
*EVOC certification preferred
*Valid Drivers License
*911 experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Copy of all required EMS certifications
*Copies of Criminal/Child Abuse/FBI Fingerprint Background Checks
PAY RATES:
*$17.00 for EMT’s with prior 911 experience and the ability to work 36 hours/week
*$15.00 for EMT’s working less than 36 hours/week
*$11.00 for EMR’s
